Expected Benefits from a NeXsmile

1. The elimination of tooth decay, tooth aches, dental infections, periodontal disease and repeat tooth-specific restorative procedures.
2. The placement of dental implants will continue to stimulate bone to remain strong in the same way roots of teeth do.  The loss of teeth without substitution of dental implants predictably results in significant loss of bone volume over time.
3. There will be an aesthetic improvement over current teeth.  The biting surfaces will be aligned and will provide chewing forces very close to natural teeth. Patients will be able to chew all the foods they love. As with all teeth or teeth substitutes, it is possible for the individual to overstress and misuse them. In other words, these teeth are not indestructible under all possible conditions or events.
4. Improved cleansability due to better access around the dental implants compared to the patients teeth.

Long Term Expectations & Warranties

Conversion from teeth to implant supported NeXsmile teeth will improve the aesthetics (smile), occlusion (ability to chew) and eliminate many dental problems to include: periodontal disease, tooth decay, and tooth nerve pain.

It does not eliminate the possibility of future dental problems to include: wear of teeth, staining of teeth, possible gum irritation and infections around implants, failure of a dental implant, and breakage of the metal framework.   For this reason the patient will continue to require routine dental examinations to receive periodic hygiene care and possibly to have repairs to the teeth and acrylic, the framework and the dental implants.

Provided the patient remains a regular patient in a general dentist’s office on at least an annual basis, the dental implants, should they fail, will be replaced at no cost to the patient for up to three years from time of placement.  There are no money reimbursements for implant failure.

Repairs to the teeth after two years: This is considered normal wear and tear and is at routine repair costs.

Routine hygiene visits: This is considered routine and is not covered by the NeXsmile procedure after 3 months from delivery of the final set of teeth.

The custom milled titanium frame has a 10 year warranty from Voxelogix with only one stipulation – that the patient has to have at least one dental examination annually.
